Oracle database support
in South Africa.
When an Oracle estate needs discipline.
- Organisations running Oracle in production whose DBA has left, retired or is covering too much.
- IT leaders who need Critical Patch Updates, backups and Data Guard handled on a schedule that is kept.
- Estates where the edition, options in use and licence position have never been documented per database.
- Teams weighing an upgrade, a consolidation or a move off Oracle, who want vendor-neutral advice first.
Kept healthy, compliant and recoverable.

Three steps, no service desk.
Start with a health check
An independent assessment of patch position, backups, standby health, capacity and configuration, ending in a prioritised list of what to fix first.
Agree the scope and one monthly fee
What we take on and what stays with your team is written down, with response commitments that we report against.
Work with a named senior DBA
You deal directly with the Oracle DBA who knows your estate, around the clock, without a service desk between you and the fix.
How we run Oracle.
Questions we are usually asked.
Do you replace our Oracle DBA or work alongside them?
Either. Some clients hand the estate over under a managed DBA agreement; others keep an in-house DBA and use us for senior cover, patching windows or projects. The split is agreed upfront and written into the scope.
Is support genuinely 24/7?
Yes. Production support runs around the clock under agreed response commitments, and we report against those commitments.
Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition, does it matter to you?
Very much. The edition decides what high availability, backup and tuning features are available and licensed, so we document the edition and options per database and run each with the right playbook.
Do you help with Oracle licensing?
We run the databases in a licence-aware way and keep the edition and options documented, which is what an audit needs to see. We are not a licence reseller, and we say so, because the honest recommendation is sometimes to stay exactly where you are.
Can you help us move off Oracle?
Yes, when it is the right answer for the workload. We support Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL, so the advice is about the workload rather than the licence, and a migration is assessed, tested and rehearsed before anything moves.
How do we start?
Most engagements start with a health check or a conversation about the estate. Use the form on this page, email expert@radixtrie.com or call +27 63 692 3703 and you will speak to a senior Oracle DBA.
